Early Scientific Education

Science is one of the educational fields addressed at childcare centres.
Although there is a consensus regarding the overall goals of early scientific
education, it is unclear which topics and activities should be covered and/or
applied in practice, and this can be challenging for early childhood education
professionals. This paper investigates which features of science-specific
activities and interactions are important in order to initiate and support children’s
learning processes.
